Founded in 1997, Lunsford Architects is a small architectural practice serving communities throughout Southern Illinois. While our experience spans a range of public and commercial work, educational architecture has remained at the heart of our practice.

Our size is part of how we work. As a close-knit team, we work collectively across every project, sharing ideas, experience, and responsibility from early planning through construction. This collaborative approach allows us to stay closely involved while balancing thoughtful design with the practical realities of budget, schedule, and long-term needs.

For nearly three decades, we have built our practice around lasting relationships, responsible design, and a commitment to the communities we call home.
